Turkey, Zambia Sign Diplomatic Land Exchange Deal in Ankara

(MENAFN) Türkiye’s foreign minister Hakan Fidan met with his Zambian counterpart Mulambo Haimbe in Ankara on Tuesday, where the two sides discussed bilateral relations and formalized a new agreement concerning diplomatic properties.

According to statements, the talks took place in the Turkish capital and focused on cooperation between the two countries. Following the meeting, both sides finalized a deal outlining the reciprocal allocation of land for diplomatic missions.

As outlined by diplomatic sources, the agreement—titled “Protocol on the Exchange of Land for Diplomatic Missions between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Zambia”—sets the framework for facilitating embassy-related arrangements between the two nations.
